Power Literacy

Power is often misunderstood – either as something one does not want to have, or as something others misuse. Yet anyone who wishes to lead needs power. And anyone who seeks to be effective must understand it – including its blind spots.

We accompany leaders and organizations in reflecting on their own relationship to power and in developing conscious power competence. At the center lies a nuanced awareness of rank: the social, historical, cultural, and structural differences that – intentionally or not – shape our impact on others.

Many tensions arise where there is a gap between one’s self-perception of influence and the effect others actually experience. This gap can be bridged – through self-reflection, feedback, coaching, and with the Diamond Power Index®, which makes one’s own “Power Print” visible.

Those who consciously shape their own power lead with greater clarity, fairness and humanity. They create spaces where others can truly contribute and grow. This is Power Literacy: the art of using influence responsibly.
